What counts as a safety violation?
Violations include: exceeding Vmo/Mmo, excessive bank angles (>35° in cruise), stall warnings, hard landings (>600 fpm), and excessive G-forces.
How is safety rate calculated?
Safety rate is the percentage of flights completed without any recorded violations. A 98% safety rate means 98 out of 100 flights were violation-free.
Do small violations count the same as major ones?
No, we weight violations by severity. A brief overspeed is less penalizing than a stall warning or a hard landing that would damage the aircraft.
